It is reported that Tanzania is one of the important nodes of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, and Dar es Salaam is located in the east of Tanzania, which is an important channel for Chinese vehicles and equipment to enter Africa. The opening of the route from Dongguan Port to Dar es Salaam Port in East Africa has provided more choices and opportunities for Chinese manufacturing exports. In order to ensure the smooth opening of the new shipping route, Shatian Customs, a subsidiary of Huangpu Customs, actively contacted freight forwarding companies and Dongguan Port Group to understand the export plan of goods in advance, and strengthened timely supervision, using a combination of "on-site+video" methods to ensure the safety and efficient clearance of goods. Sha Tin Customs stated that it will continue to provide customs clearance protection services, assist Dongguan Port in extending its Southeast Asian branch services and international transit businesses, open up direct shipping routes connecting Africa, America, Europe and other regions, and create more efficient and convenient sea freight logistics channels.
